High School
Ignite is the ministry of NorthCreek Church to high school students. In Ignite, we want to help raise up students who will love, serve, and follow Jesus Christ all the days of their lives. We disciple students by creating contexts for them to hear the truth from God’s Word, learn from older believers in the church, and lay down their lives in service and evangelism. We would love to get to know you and walk with you through your high school years. We pray that it will be just the beginning of a lifelong walk with Christ and His people.
SUNDAY MORNING
Join us each week at 9:00 AM in the FMC, first floor, in the Chapel.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Students meet in grade specific small groups to provide opportunity for fellowship, prayer, and discipleship. (Ephesians 4:11-17; Acts 2:42)
Discipleship Groups (DGs) are the primary way we, at NorthCreek Church, help our high school students to grow spiritually. DGs are a place where students can encourage and motivate one another, as well as study the Word of God with a caring adult. Each DG consists of eight to twelve students and two godly adult leaders.

EVENTS
Purpose: Since it has become difficult to solely rely upon emails for communication, we are now utilizing the Remind texting system for communication. Emails will still be sent with weekly updates, but Remind makes it easier to keep you informed. Parents and/or students will receive a text invitation for Remind a few days after completing the Annual Permission Form or DG Registration. Once you are in our database we can easily sent you a text. This system also keeps record of our communication with your students, thereby ensuring their safety.
Practice: Remind is very helpful for sending a text message to parents with an ETA when we are returning on a bus. It is also very helpful if the Director wants to host a last minute dodgeball game on campus that night. Last minute updates or reminders for DGs, Equipping Classes, tech team, and worship team are easily communicated and seen, unlike the last minute email that most people do not see. Email Jen if you have any questions.
