CHARITY AND IT'S FRUITS

The purpose of this study is twofold. First, it aims to address a perceived weakness in our church. While our church undoubtedly has strengths, I occasionally hear that we are not “a loving church.” If there is any truth to this, then this course directly targets that issue. We will spend 30 weeks focusing on our love for God and our neighbors, which will, hopefully, help both the church as a whole and each of us individually to grow in the ability to “build up the body in love” (Eph 4).
Second, it seeks to help us practically and tangibly grow in our love for God and neighbor. Jonathan Edwards called charity (or love) our “supreme affection,” so it makes sense to devote significant time to focusing on love in as many practical and tangible ways as possible—in our lives, homes, ministries, and community. Please join us to learn how to better love Christ, His people, our neighbors, and the nations!

CORNERSTONE
Wednesdays | Sept 4 - May 7 | 6:45 - 8 PM | WC 119/120
This is a school-year long course that teaches 105 Biblical Principles through a 22-chapter text book covered in 32 accompanying lectures by Jeremy Pray, Pastor of Biblical Counseling.
Cost: $25 for the Self Confrontation Manual and $10 for When People are Big and God is Small, by Edward Welch.

ONEIGHTY (Junior High) and IGNITE (High School) Discipleship Groups (DGs)
Wednesdays | Sept 4 - May 7 | 6:45 - 8 PM | Cost $15
DGs are the primary way we, at NorthCreek Church, help our students to grow spiritually. We meet Wednesday nights from September 4 to May 7. Each DG consists of eight to twelve students and one or two godly adult leaders. For more information about DG's, visit our Student Ministries page here.

FOR CHILDREN:
Well Versed Kids

Let NorthCreek partner with you in helping children become Well Versed in their faith. Each week, teachers will introduce and practice core memory work, including Bible passages, Heidelberg catechism, worship song lyrics, and biblical theology. Through on-site seminars, take-home memory guides, and a brand new app, parents will be equipped to continue the memory work as a family at home, if they desire. Equipping our children is such important work, let’s do it together.
We have classes this fall for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
