MEMBERSHIP AT NORTHCREEK CHURCH

Discover the joy of membership at NorthCreek and belonging to a Christ-centered community

Home / Membership & Baptism

We believe joining a local church allows us to experience God's presence through worship, fulfilling the deepest longing of our hearts and the greatest goal of life. It connects us with God's people, providing a place to both be ministered to and minister to others. It brings God's peace as we apply and obey the principles of His Word and empowers us with God's strength to fulfill His great commission to “make disciples of all nations.”

Why become a member?

Membership

Becoming a member of NorthCreek Church means partnering with fellow believers to grow as disciples and make disciples. Members commit to using their gifts and resources to serve one another, fostering spiritual growth and Christ-like maturity within the church family, supported by NorthCreek’s biblically qualified elders and leaders. The process includes participating in Sunday worship, attending a membership class to learn about NorthCreek’s mission and beliefs, affirming the church’s covenant through a membership application, and meeting with a pastor or elder to share your testimony and explore opportunities for discipleship, community, and service. Baptism is also required if not previously completed as a believer.

Baptism

"Very often, some of those who really do believe in Jesus neglect to avow their faith in the Lord’s appointed way. Nothing is more plainly taught in the New Testament than that it is the duty of every believer in Christ to be baptized." - Charles Haddon Spurgeon

All believers are called to profess their faith in Christ and commitment to Christ's Church through the waters of baptism.  While baptism is not necessary for salvation, baptism is an ordinance which was commanded by the Lord Jesus Himself (Matthew 28:18-20).  We thank God for your desire to be obedient to the Lord in pursuing baptism.
