OUTREACH AT NORTHCREEK CHURCH

We proclaim Christ locally and globally, sharing the gospel and making disciples.

Ministries / Outreach

Our mission extends both locally and globally: to proclaim Christ and share the gospel with our neighbors and communities, to support and create awareness of impactful ministries, and to plant churches that make disciples both near and far.

Our Mission

PRAYER

Family Prayer

Join us on the third Sunday of each month after the second service for Family Prayer. Together, we seek God’s guidance, praying for our mission partners around the world, our church staff, and the needs of our local community.

This is a meaningful time to align our hearts with God’s purposes and experience the power of prayer as a church family. Whether you pray aloud or quietly, your presence makes a difference.

OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES

  • Stay tuned for more information about our upcoming Short Term Ministries! We’re excited to offer opportunities for you to serve locally and globally. For details on these ministry opportunities, be sure to check the bulletin. We look forward to sharing how you can be a part of making a difference through these short-term missions!

    • Halloween: A corporate challenge to optimize your Halloween by thoughtfully thinking through how your family or roommates can reach out to your neighbors.

    • Hope 680:  Hope 680: Provides food, hygiene items, clothing, and blankets, as well as encouragement through sharing the gospel and spiritual conversations with men and women that our team meets. If you have donations, you can learn more here: hope680.org. Please do not drop off donations at the church.

    • Retirement Home Visits: Provides an opportunity for those who are unable to attend church to participate in worship through hymns, prayer, and a devotion from the Word of God and enjoy fellowship with other believers.

    • Walnut Festival: An opportunity to engage the community through a NorthCreek booth at the annual Walnut Festival hosted at Heather Farms Park.

    • Bay Area Chaplains:  Provides counseling, discipleship, and Bible studies for the inmates and staff of the Martinez, Marsh Creek, and West County Detention Facilities. For more information, contact Don Campbell campdonnie22@gmail.com.

    • Bay Area Rescue Mission: Offers shelter, clothing, job and life skills, while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through Bible studies and counseling, which empowers the homeless and needy towards change. For more information, contact Dean Hollenbeck deanh@bayarearescue.org.

    • Options Health: Offers free and compassionate counseling and information within a safe and caring environment to women and their families who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. For more information, contact Mami Cole myamajo@sbcglobal.net.

    • Safe Refuge for Children + Families: Hosts vulnerable children who are in family crisis situations and creates extended family-like support through a community of church networks and devoted volunteers. For more information, email us at narae@saferefuge.org.

    • Sports Camp:  This week of sports fun includes a morning Bible message and huddle time with coaches. Sign up to be a coach and build on the platform of sports to share the Bible with kids grades K-5th. Consider intentionally inviting kids from your family, extended family, and neighborhood to join this annual event every June.

    • Day Camp:  NorthCreek's Vacation Bible School! Sign up to be a counselor and enjoy this excellent way to share the truth of God’s Word with kids K-5th grade. Get the word out by inviting kids to join us the end of July for this amazing time of song, drama, puppets, crafts, and recreation.

    • Clothesline
The purpose of clothesline is to show and share God’s grace through the free gift of gently used clothing and shoes for our church and local communities. Our prayer is that the clothing would actually provide a platform for us to share the gospel. We do that by sharing tracts, providing information about upcoming events and the church and have an intentional hospitality area set up at the exit that allows shoppers to chat and pray with welcoming NorthCreekers. Clothesline occurs every spring.

    • Food Pantry: The Food Pantry is open the fourth Tuesday of every month, from 10:45-11:45am. Along with food, this ministry offers gospel hope and prayer to those who visit from our community.

    • The Story: This event explains the profound and highly personal story of God’s redemptive work presented through music, artwork, and live narrators. Invite others to enjoy watching the creative display of works of art by Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and other famous artists while hearing God’s plan of salvation. Learn more here: thestoryinart.com

    • Comunidad Biblica Hispana: Offers weekly fellowship, worship, Bible teaching and prayer in Spanish. Meets here at NorthCreek on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. in WC 120.

    • Walnut Creek Persian Church: provides worship gathering on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in WC 124.
