Local Community at NorthCreek Church
At NorthCreek Church in Northern California, we recognize the essential role of the local church in nurturing and preparing the next generation of pastors, missionaries, and leaders. This commitment drives our partnership with The Master’s Seminary, allowing individuals to pursue a Master of Divinity degree while remaining deeply connected to their church community.
The Master’s Seminary Partnership
Our collaboration with The Master’s Seminary offers a unique opportunity for students to receive theological education without leaving the Northern California area. This program is designed to equip future leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective ministry in a local context.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
-
We understand that flexibility is key for many students balancing education with other commitments. Therefore, our program employs a hybrid learning model that includes:
On-site, in-person classes: Engage directly with faculty and fellow students in a collaborative learning environment.
Two-way livestream video classes: Participate in real-time discussions and lectures from anywhere, ensuring you never miss an important lesson.
Online classes: Access course materials and complete assignments at your convenience.
Spiritual fellowship: Build lasting relationships with fellow students, families, and faculty through shared experiences and community events.
-
The educational experience at NorthCreek Church is not just about academic achievement; it emphasizes spiritual growth and community. Students are immersed in an environment that prioritizes:
Worship of God: Engaging in collective worship as a foundational aspect of our community.
Authority of Scripture: Upholding the Bible as the ultimate guide for faith and practice.
Personal holiness: Encouraging a lifestyle that reflects Christ's character.
Local church priority: Preparing students to serve effectively within their church communities.
Global outreach: Inspiring students to reach the world with the gospel message.
-
The Master of Divinity curriculum provides a basic four-year program in graduate theological education for those preparing for church or mission vocations requiring ordination. The program is designed to provide a broad biblical, theological, and practical foundation for those entering pastoral, missionary, or other Christian-education ministries. The program also provides a basis for further graduate study, such as Master of Theology (Th.M.), Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).
-
If you are interested in pursuing theological education while staying rooted in your community, we invite you to explore the opportunities available through our partnership with The Master’s Seminary. Together, we can raise up the next generation of leaders who will impact our world for Christ. For more information on enrollment and upcoming classes, please contact us. Enrollment in the Master of Divinity program is accomplished through the normal application process after meeting standard entrance requirements (see catalog and application information for details). Students enroll as cohorts to complete the four-year schedule to meet degree requirements.
