CHURCH PLANTING AT NORTHCREEK CHURCH

Training and commissioning church planters to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ

Home / Church Planting

The biblical model for gospel expansion involves churches planting churches. As seen in the New Testament, communities of believers—called the church—sent out followers of Jesus Christ to proclaim Him in new territories. As these disciples spread the gospel and new believers emerged, new churches were established. These churches, in turn, multiplied by training and sending out leaders to establish more churches.

Why plant churches?

Gospel Advancement

By establishing vibrant, gospel-centered churches, we equip believers to proclaim and enjoy God. These churches serve as multiplying hubs for the kingdom, impacting the East Bay and beyond. NorthCreek Church remains committed to this mission of planting and strengthening churches for God’s glory.

God’s Timing

God has ordained our time and place to live, work, and engage for His glory (Acts 17:26). Through His sovereign plan, we are called to steward our lives and resources for the advancement of His kingdom. This includes the vital work of spreading the gospel through church planting.

Future Focus

NorthCreek Church seeks to fulfill the Great Commission by following the early church's example, where evangelism and church planting go hand in hand. We aim to plant or strengthen churches in areas with limited access to Bible teaching and gospel proclamation. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to pursue this important mission.
